Laurie is a phenomenal Pilates trainer. Through her knowledge and guidance, I have gained balance, strength and confidence. -Dee M.
Fitness has been an important factor in my life for many years. Most of us start our workouts with a walking or running regimen, add a few resistance machines, then add a group fitness class to nurture a social component to our daily toil. Cross training adds diversity and jump starts our interest. When I added Reformer Pilates to my workouts 5 years ago, there was a spark that upped the ante on my weekly workouts. I grew to realize that my flexibility and BALANCE especially, were measurably enhanced; my posture improved. I noticed that my arms were more sculpted with muscle definition. I didn’t relinquish my social group either, as my group class with Laurie remained intact throughout this time. I look forward to reconvening with this squad at Trained! – Barbara R.
Pilates Reformer with Laurie was exactly what I needed 9 years ago when I started working out with her. Laurie is a knowledgeable trainer on the Reformer. She corrects your posture, encourages breathing and works on the core with emphasis on pulling your belly to your spine throughout the workout. This ensures you are receiving the benefit from your class. Laurie pushes me outside my comfort zone which has resulted in being in the best shape of my life at 49 years old. I highly recommend Laurie’s Pilates Reformer classes for anyone looking to challenge themselves and increase their strength, flexibility, and energy levels. – Julie N.

If you take Pilates classes regularly, you will achieve long strong muscles and a leaner look. Pilates improves your muscle tone, balances musculature, supports beautiful posture, and teaches you to move with ease and grace. All of these things will make you look and feel fit. To quote Joseph Pilates, the developer of Pilates exercises, “In 10 sessions you will feel better, in 20 sessions you will look better, and in 30 sessions you will have a whole new body. If you do 2-3 classes a week, you should start to see results in 10-12 weeks. Even if you attend one class a week , you will still see results but it might take longer.

We offer both 45 and 60 minute classes. Each class can have up to 5 students. Your instructor will guide you through the class and all the exercises. Modifications for exercises are always offered, allowing you to achieve the best workout possible.
